▷ First Impressions

▶ VISUAL: Ja'far typically wears a green keffiyeh with a golden band, off-white/yellowish with green detail robes, and a white undershirt of sorts - which is his garb for his work, and pretty much all he owns in terms of clothing. under his robes, he has wires or a kind of rope with distinctive, arrowhead shaped knives tied at the ends, which wound around his arms. he is rather pale, with silver hair, dark eyes, and freckles across the bridge of his nose and cheeks. he is about 5'8"/172 cm, and has a lean, lightly muscular build.
▶ AURAL: Ja'far's voice is rather neutral and even, with a tone that isn't overly deep or loud. of course, this changes when he's angry or frustrated, and will often be found shouting and snapping at people.
▶ OLFACTORY: Ja'far canonically has no smell, to the point that even Morgiana - who has a very strong sense of smell - can't detect anything.
▶ DEMEANOUR: at a first meeting, Ja'far is mostly very calm, collected, and very much so the role of head parliamentary official and advisor. he's generally rather friendly, although not necessarily open or overly warm to people. he's very kind and sweet to children, and does seem to want to help others when they're troubled. however, when frustrated, angered, or stressed, Ja'far's very stern and has a short fuse - so if you've pissed him off, you will definitely know it.

▶ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Ja'far isn't one to necessarily give it or receive it, and might be awkward if approached with it.
▶ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Ja'far isn't afraid to back down from a fight, and is quite willing to put his own life on the line if it means protecting someone or something he cares about. for that reason, if attacked, he will most certainly attack back - and quite forcefully as well.
▶ RELATIONSHIPS: if you're fine with a really short tempered, constantly overstressed, ex-assassin guy who is intensely devoted to a really dumb king ok sure
▶ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: he frowns heavily at anyone who does this, and he certainly would not be down with anyone doing this to him. considering he most likely holds a lot of secrets important to his kingdom and his king, it wouldn't be something easy or inviting to do.
▶ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Ja'far has a connection to Sinbad's djinn Ba'al, which means he does have control over what is called a "household vessel." essentially, this means his knives can be imbued with the power of lightning, and cause two bolts in the shape of snakes to form around the blades and the wires. he can only use it a certain amount before it eats up his own energy, however. he is also partially assimilated with Ba'al, and has been since the fall of the first Sindria.
▶ MEDICAL INFORMATION: normal, 27 year old male who doesn't sleep enough. the scars on his legs may have some sort of body altering power behind them, but it has yet to be revealed.
▶ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: he doesn't seem to be outright upset by anything other that someone insulting or threatening Sinbad or Sindria, which would include anyone who's a citizen, general, or welcomed guest there. he doesn't take kindly to frustration or people insulting him, but that's fairly normal.

▶ BACKTAGGING: god yes this is basically my life, feel free to do the same with me!
▶ THREADHOPPING: if it's a private thread or something that's rather intent between Ja'far and whoever else he's interacting with, no, but otherwise, sure!
▶ FOURTHWALLING: uhhh I guess this depends? no like, godmoding or telling him about his own series, since that'd be weird. if your character is someone who knows the other incarnations of Ja'far and wants to crack a joke, I'm all for it.
▶ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: outright jokes about alcoholism, and really intense images of gore or violence.
