... Regardless, though, is simply avoiding such people... really for the best? If they exist, and they are dangerous, we cannot simply turn a blind eye, can we?
[ well geez, if it's about how much natural lifespan they've got left, titus should be handling 100% of the killer-fighting duties at this point ]
...Sir Ja'far... you are wrong.
If the world were as we wish it is, then those who are young would certainly always live longer than those who are old. But in such an ideal world, no one would do evil to begin with, and none of us would have to fight.
In the world as it is, children and old men die alike—for all kinds of reasons, whether or not they put themselves in harm's way. And those with the ability to protect others and fight against injustice must do so, no matter their age or circumstances... because otherwise, how will we ever create the world we all wish for?
...and besides, you cannot be all that old in the first place.
I still want you to be careful. Children should not have to be involved in things like this, especially when there are adults who can either do it or help. Please, if that person approaches you again, let me know. I want to make sure you are safe.
scheherazade bought me the outfit with poofy shorts and thigh cutouts so what do u think
[ this is weird... it's like... ja'far totally cares about him... or whatever...??? (titus is super into people caring about him obviously but like. isn't it kind of weird?????) ]
But... It's not like I want you to be in danger, either, no matter how old you are. And I think I have at least as much reason to worry. After all, I have borg and my magic, but you are a household vessel user, right? It doesn't seem like you would be able to use your abilities if the metal vessel holder is in another world. [ and also probably not if every metal vessel in the world were destroyed and all the djinn left and sinbad himself died/vanished/etc. ..... but it's pretty unlikely anything like that would ever happen!!! ]
( Ja'far may not know Titus very well, but he does care. And cares a lot about children anyway, even if he didn't know Titus at all he'd care. )
...Aladdin has suggested I tell you what happens in our time. I still am not sure on this, on whether or not it will change things for the worse if you know it going home, but... Aladdin thinks it would be better to tell you if you want to know.
Do you? Want to know, that is. I will not put that burden on you if you do not want it.
well i heard before i was born aladdin walked around in a vest and NO SHIRT, what did you say then
I truly... have no idea... There are questions I desperately want to ask, but at the same time, I am terrified of what the answers might be. And if I do find out, and then wish I had not... well, then what?
I also somehow doubt that nothing but good things occurred between the last moment I recall and the present as you know it. And I am worried about... what it will mean if I am unable to change anything that went wrong, but also what it will mean if I can.
... I had been terribly concerned about what must have happened to my friends in Magnostadt when I disappeared with no warning and arrived here. But Aladdin told me that from their perspective, I never vanished. And likewise, he told me that Marga... remains well and happy.
Maybe eventually I will be brave enough to hear the rest. But I think that, for now... that is enough.
aladdin is a weird kid and ja'far wanted to dress him in proper clothes for ages, don't even
( Ja'far's quiet for a long moment, then smiles, feeling reassured in a way. )
I feel much the same. I don't know how I would handle finding out what happens in my own future, let alone what that could mean if I remembered it. What could happen if I was able to change things. What it would mean if I knew and yet could not do anything to stop it.
( He sighs, but looks back up at Titus, his gaze firm. )
I will be here when or if you want to know more. But, regardless, I am here for you as an adult, as someone from our world that may know what you're going through. You're always free to turn to me if you need to, Titus.
and yet he vetoed NOTHING. smh at this blatant double standard
And, well... I suppose you'd prefer to leave me out of it, but if you ever happen to find yourself in a situation that calls for more than just the wisdom of age, I truly hope you will turn to me, too.
look aladdin is his adoptive son basically let ja'far live
sHHhHHHhhhHHh details, also that was GOOD food
It's an extreme, but they do exist. And they're usually very dangerous people.
well even if it all goes straight to my hips, i can just buy new pants
—oh, no, you meant... the assassin... person.
...
Regardless, though, is simply avoiding such people... really for the best? If they exist, and they are dangerous, we cannot simply turn a blind eye, can we?
titus no!!! also assassin person i'm laughing
And no, we keep an eye on them and act when we can. I would not have you in danger, however. You're far too young to be fighting killers like that.
maybe some apple bottom jeans and/or boots with the fur
probably doesn't have any deeper meaning!!
more importantly, this again?? ]
I have fought killers already. And Aladdin has, too, as I am sure you know, and he is younger than I am.
i'm dying, titus do not
ok then how about baggy sweatpants and reeboks with the straps
ah, the ye olde slavic look, v classy

Then, he smiles and laughs quietly. )
