[ Black wasn't really his color, especially not nowadays. He tended to stay to pale blues, whites, golds - pastels and soft colors.

Tonight was special, though. As he, Ja'far and Sinbad stepped into the multi-story club along the red carpet, he was tapped on the shoulder by a man at the door putting away the coats. He unlaced the tan trenchcoat that went to his knees, drawing it over his shoulders and giving it to the man so he could brush his long wavy hair in front of him. The short black dress was more detailed than he'd had at their own party, decorated with thin silver chains and black silk flowers at the hip, where a long slit joined the rest of the dress. The slit itself went from the hem at mid-thigh up, somewhat diffused by some translucent, soft chiffon and linen that gave him a gauzy, otherworldly feel, as if the wings on his back didn't do that already.

With it being backless, his wings could move freely, though it did mean it was secured at his back along with his choker, as if they were one and the same. Wearing black only seemed to emphasize his Submissive mark, and the people who did know of him gave a doubletake when he walked by them, trailing after Ja'far and Sinbad as their third.

It probably should've alerted both of them when they couldn't hear a third pair of footsteps, tiny ballet flats clicking on the tile after them.

Before either of his companions could look back to call for him, Aspen was gone, trailing into the crowds of people. It'd been a long time since he was 'invisible' - but as a Submissive, he could play at it tonight.

It was his debut, but this was fine too. ]

( Ja'far had been glued to Aspen for half the trip to the venue, eyes trailing down his form - especially that slit in his dress - and giving a bit of a look to anyone who stared. This was his fiancé, and his fiancé could make his own choices, which didn't include getting creepily leered at by people, unless he wanted it. Ja'far didn't take action to shoo them away though, waiting to see what Aspen wanted to do, what he wanted out of this situation.

Ja'far did know that Aspen liked these kind of things, liked being able to play and manipulate things into his favor. He had no wool over his eyes about that - after all, he'd been Sinbad's right hand man for most of their lives now, he knew exactly what kind of game both of them could play. Seeing how Aspen played to his own kind of strengths could be interesting to watch, and Ja'far mostly wanted to make sure he was safe enough to do so.

So, when Aspen is suddenly not behind the either of them, Ja'far startles and curses under his breath. Of course Aspen wandered off. This party is exactly the type of thing he'd love. With a sigh, and a promised threat to Sinbad if he misbehaves too much, Ja'far is off, looking for his fiancé in the crowd. )

[ He feels a hand or two slide up his body and he pays it no mind, too familiar to really care. They could touch but never have him, and maybe one of those hands was innocent. The one that gripped his ass through the fabric definitely wasn't, but he'd smacked his hip to the side to get free of it.

He'd seen a bit of red-violet hair... ah, there he was.

By the time Ja'far found him, Aspen was cornered by an older, taller man, but even despite his position, he seemed completely comfortable. One hand was braced on the man's forearm and the other on his chest. Aspen's gaze was attentive, not leaving the man's face, laughing every now and then like he was utterly charmed as his words.

Even if he wasn't.

Aspen waited as the man spoke, biding his time, like a cat about to pounce - he closed his eyes and tilted his head to the side. The man stopped speaking, seeming almost entranced for a moment before he dipped his head down to kiss at his neck.

The hand that had been at the man's chest moved down to the man's back pocket - Aspen let out a soft moan and a shy, submissive laugh as he plucked what he was looking for out of that pocket, tucking it away into the back straps of his dress. ]

( Ja'far watches this in his own sort of trance. At first, he'd nearly moved to pull his fiancé out of that man's hold, not jealous, but angry at how close the man had gotten without Ja'far seeing how it'd happened. Did Aspen want this? Was he comfortable? Was this man breaking any of Aspen's boundaries?

But, then, Ja'far sees what Aspen does. What he takes. And then he just sighs and relaxes, waiting for Aspen to finish up, or for an opportunity to cut in.

Once he sees one, he excuses himself, smiling at the strange man politely, offering a bow of his head. )

Forgive me, sir. I'm here to collect my fellow Submissive for our Dominant, Sinbad. ( He keeps his smile warm and polite, waiting for the man to move aside so he could gently take Aspen's arm and guide him away - at least if he's ready to leave. )

S-sinbad?

[ The man gawps at the name dropped, and Aspen gives a bright laugh. There's something different about his voice - airy and playful all at once, flirtatious but not in the least bit serious. There's something... airheaded about it. ]

Yeah! Didn't I tell you? I got contracted a week ago!

[ Aspen bounces in his spot, long hair swinging off of his shoulder behind him. ]

He's here, too! You should meet him. Business and administration are basically the same thing, right?

[ He tilts his head to the side innocently, the veneer of dim-witted beauty proving to make this seemingly powerful man underestimate Aspen - he laughs quietly and draws back. ]

Well, if he managed to get his hands on you, maybe he can teach me a few pointers. Enjoy yourself, Aspen. And...

[ He looks over at Ja'far appreciatively. ]

Tell me if you're going to do a public show, will you?

Mmhm, of course, of course...! [ He moves to Ja'far's side, latching onto him happily like a lovesick teenager. The man swats slightly at Aspen's bottom and he gives a playful cry, sticking his tongue out over his shoulder...

And then settling back at Ja'far's side. He drops the ditzy affect from his voice. ]

I have a feeling that Sinbad didn't send for me.

( As soon as their backs are turned and they're walking away, Ja'far gives him a look. With a sigh and a roll of his eyes, he leans close to his ear, talking in a hushed tone - and looking like they're just two lovers, or at least very familiar submissives. )

Just what were you after, anyway?

A token. It generates a password every ten seconds that will match up with a password in another place.

[ He keeps his voice hushed, reaching over and stroking Ja'far's jaw flirtatiously to make it seem as if they're not speaking of anything important. ]

You use one where you work, don't you? It gets you into restricted areas.

( He raises an eyebrow, staring at Aspen curiously. )

Yes, we do. Sin has one, too. But there are areas only natives are allowed into.

There are, that's true.

It's quite good I have help from a native.

[ He's not going to divulge all of his plan, though - he doesn't want to get Sinbad and Ja'far involved if it turns bad. ]

Why do you ask?

( Ja'far snorts, patting the hand looped through his arm. He keeps walking, taking them back towards a more private area, where Sinbad most likely has wandered off to by now, anyway. )

Be careful. ( It's not a threat, nor is it a statement of doubt in what Aspen can do. More just a reminder. )

[ Aspen hums gently, then kisses at his neck. ]

I'm very careful, my love.

What do you think about what he said?

Which part? The part where Sin's already infamous here, or the 'public show' part?

[ Softly, seductively - ]

( ???????? )

( He looks around briefly, as if someone could've overheard, his face red. )

You... you want to? In public?

[ He strokes down Ja'far's chest - it's pointedly different from how he'd flirted with his target, it's far slower and thumbs across his chest where he knows it's sensitive. ]

Why not? It is my debut, isn't it?

( He sputters, knowing Aspen is actually doing this with intent to him. )

Yes, but- I know this place is having sex for charity, and all, but- Wouldn't you be more interested in doing that with Sin? He's our Dominant here, after all, and that'd have a bigger impact.

( He stares, eyes wide. )

Are you embarrassed? [ He wraps an arm around him, kissing his neck again. ]

[ His eyes drift to Ja'far's earrings and he flushes a bit, clearing his throat. ]

Well, it will be stronger.

I... ( He stares at Aspen, face red in turn. )
