( Aaaah, Ja'far can feel his heart skip a beat. )

[ Aspen feels a smile coming to his face, gentle and sincere, and in a way, it hurts - but it's a good sort of hurt, like stretching out an old muscle. He missed this. He missed Ja'far. ]
